Works in progress...Part 2

  1. I like that you have taken your miniature objects and placed them into areas that show their scale and play with their unnatural scene. You should keep them in color, it helps to emphasis the little animals. Plus, the backgrounds you have them in front of already have mute or monotone colors. I think the best one is the animals with the alligator, but all three work well as a series for the narrative prompt.

  2. I love the origami animal series! I think that the last two of the series are stronger in composition. The animals in the first photo seem too evenly spread around the image, and don't make as strong of a composition, I think. Although the Making a more close-up photo of the animals, for variety, is a good idea. Love the last photo-very clever, and nice juxtaposition!

  3. I REALLY like the one by the water with the alligator. It's probably my favorite of the series.

  4. I think the origami series is really strong. If you were to do anything to improve the image, maybe bring out the colors of the animals as much as possible. For the flower one, if your focus is the cig. then maybe you want to crop out the flowers on the right.

  5. I love the origami series! I think the first and third ones are really strong. For the second one, I think cropping it a bit could help a lot. Maybe if you rotated it to be a "portrait" rather than a "landscape" layout, you could draw the focus to the subject without losing the effect of the steps. The flower smoking is great too. Again, I think cropping could make this stronger.
